It’s spring in Boise. The snow is melting & the rivers are flowing high. During this time of the year, the fish have more room to spread out. An inflatable boat or paddle-board is a highly effective way to cover all of the possible holes.
Starting at Barber park and ending at Anne Morrison is the standard Boise summer float. During the hot months, the river will be filled with people from morning to evening. In the spring it’s a ghost town.
We have rental paddle boards available for single or multi-day excursions. Ask about the Bote Rackham, which has been optimized for fishing.
Want to get out, but aren’t sure about what you are doing? Check out our friends at Boise River Guides. They know the Boise River like the back of their hands. (It’s in the name)
